Prague December 2003
Stayed just up from St. Wenceslas square on Mezibranska Street
In St. Wenceslas Square
Outside the church 'SS Cyril and Methodius' on Resslova Street. This is where in WW2 the Czech resistance fighters died after assassinating Reynhard Heydrich, the Nazi SS Garison Commander. They holed up in the church for a number of days before the SS flooded them out. The survivors committed suicide in the crypt rather than surrender to the SS.
In the crypt of the Church where the resistance tried to tunnel out to escape the SS
Part of the exhibit to the resistance guys, in the crypt.
Right, the 'Dancing building' corner of Resslova by the river
On the old 'Charles' bridge on the way to Prague Castle (over my right shoulder on the hill!'
